Star’s Janitorial Services is a family owned and operated commercial cleaning company headquartered in Concord, California. Since 2012, we have cleaned offices, medical facilities, warehouses, and residential communities across the East Bay and Contra Costa County.

The company was founded by Maria M. Hernandez, who brought more than 20 years of facility-maintenance experience to a single mission: give every client a clean, healthy, well-cared-for environment. Today the business is a true mother-and-daughter operation. Maria’s daughter, Briana Cruz, runs client communication and account satisfaction, so the same family that founded Star’s still answers your call. Two generations later, that standard defines how we work. We do not just clean surfaces; we build lasting partnerships rooted in reliability, responsiveness, and results.

Every account starts with a walkthrough and a detailed, per-visit scope, including the monthly and quarterly items other companies skip. Our crews are continuously trained and audited, and we document work with before-and-after photos so facility managers always know exactly what was done.

Maria M. Hernandez is our Founder and CEO, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the facility maintenance industry. After many years in the field, Maria opened her own cleaning company with a clear mission: to give every client a clean and healthy environment. She founded Star's Janitorial Services in 2012 and still puts her name on the quality of every job.

Briana Cruz

Partner & Managing Member

Briana Cruz is our Partner and Managing Member, and Maria's daughter. She joined the family business with years of experience in communication and client satisfaction. Her priority is to deliver value to every client and offer solutions to any problem, and clients regularly mention her responsiveness by name.
